This course is for a student who wishes to become an automobile
technician. The program is designed to provide an in depth operating
study of the automobile and its operating systems, including engine
repair, engine performance, electricity/electronics, brakes, steering
and suspension.
Special
Course Features include: Students have the opportunity
to work in the AYES program established in conjunction with local
automobile dealerships.
Suggested
Prerequisites include: basic skills in Reading, Math,
Logical Thinking, Writing and Problem Solving. A (Mechanical)
Artist aptitude and good hand-eye coordination are very essential.
Clothing/Tools
Requirements include: 1-pc. jumpsuit, safety glasses
or goggles, and safety shoes
