The following businesses have employed our students as carpentry helpers:
Casa Decks
VB Contractors, Inc.
Princess Anne Cabinets

Right now Carpentry Students are working on:

Building the Foundation House
Building items that are for sale to the public at the Tech Center Store: adirondack chairs, sheds, picnic tables, and benches
Building garages, dugouts, and refreshment stands at local schools
Participating in community service projects like Habitat for Humanity

Students in Carpentry students are saying:

"Good old-fashioned hard work. This is an actual job, and I am not just sitting behind a desk!"
"On the job training is the best part of this class."
"I enjoy real life job experiences for preparation for a job in carpentry and possibly owning my own business a couple of years down the road."
