Volunteering at free dental clinics
Making bleach trays
May 2009 Dental Access Day: The Dental Assisting students and area dentists (Drs. Richmond, Oliver, Crouse, and Amos) provided the area's dentally uninsured with over $7000 of free restorative and surgical procedures. The day went flawlessly due to the fact that in the weeks preceding the event, the Dental Assisting students worked tirelessly with Drs. Kahan, Heffelfinger, and Mahones and provided over $9000 of exams, x-rays, cleanings, and flouride treatments.
